Portuguese national TV presented this morning some figures about AIDS in Mozambique:
- 500 new infected people everyday;
- 1 in 6 people is seropositive;
- 90.000 people die every year with AIDS;
- Aids is still spreading all over the country.
In our opinion, a very hard effort in familiar and community education (social and health education) must be done. Schools and homes take a very central place in this kind of work.
